Three-in-One Braid

I have trouble finding a style for my hair during the summer. It is too heavy for a ponytail, and too hot to keep down, so I am constantly trying new things to do with my hair. Here is a style that is quick, simple, and effective. It is shorter than a normal braid, and stays in better, which is exactly what I am looking for.

Three-in-One Braid

You can do this either with your hair wet, or dry, but I find, like all hair styles, it works best when your hair is wet.

Split your hair into three sections.

Take one section, and braid it. Repeat with the other two, until you have three sections: one on the right, one on the left, and one in the back.

Start braiding those three braids together. Don't pull down on the braid as you do this, as you normally would, but push up, scrunching it toward your head.

Tie off with an elastic. Ta-Da!
