Nail Tools and How to Draw Designs

There is a whole other world that comes to you when you start to paint designs on your nails. It is so simple to do, too. You can buy the brushes, and/or make your own DIY tools.

The main tool I use to draw designs on my nails, is a tooth pick. It can make lines, and can double as a dotter. Another way to make a dotter, is to take a pencil, and stick a straight pin in the eraser. You can also use different size nails instead of a straight pin.

I would recommend getting a skinny brush as well, but it is not necessary. You can find skinny brushes a place that sells art painting supplies, or a salon, such as Sally's.

You can draw designs on your nails on top of nail polish, or just by itself on your bare nail. The design will stay on longer too, if you put a coat of clear over the top.

To make the design, just dip your tool into the nail polish, making sure it is not dripping off, and start drawing! Designs can be found virtually anywhere, the only tough part is figuring out which design to do!
